From her foster: This extraordinary lady could be the poster child for the word "resilience." Ember came to us as part of the "Answer the Meow" hoarding case. The vet staff said she had one of the worst cases of gum disease they'd ever seen. So now she has no teeth! But shed no tears for this 5-year-old, 6-lb. feisty girl! Within 24 hours of arrival at her foster home, she had come out of her cave and was super affectionate and snuggly. She may even have some dog genes in her DNA: her favorite game is fetch and she barks if there's no one around to play with her! She gets along with other cats as well, and would do well with a feline sibling. She also enjoys chasing a laser dot.
