She has to be the only dog/animal in the home. There cannot be other dogs or pets in the home due to safety concerns. She demonstrates resource guarding behaviors and it is unsafe for our other two dogs to be around her.
She is very loving and sweet and will make a great household pet for another family. We only want the best for her and hope to find the best fit for her and her future family. Great with all people and children, high energy, does not tend to jump often, great at playing catch, follows commands; even when given from children :), is going to be a wonderful addition to someone’s family.
Has to be the only dog in the household. Very friendly with all people, including children, but demonstrates resource guarding behaviors. She would do best with an owner who understands the breed. She is very intelligent and follows commands when given. She has been around children and is good with them. Does not respond or scare easily with loud noises. She is very healthy and has no health concerns. We adopted her from humane society given the information she is good with other dogs and this is the reason we are rehoming. There is an apparent unknown trauma that she has experienced that has caused the behaviors we have experienced with her. She does well interacting and playing with dogs outside of her home but becomes very territorial of her space when other dogs are in it. She has bitten both of the dogs we had in our home prior to getting her, one is a senior dog and we are unable to risk additional interactions where his safety may be at risk. We have tried several interventions to help the behavior we have seen and none of them have been successful where she is able to be around our other dogs. She is a high energy dog and would make a great running partner, she is very fast. She likes to chew and play with toys, it’s best to always have something for her to chew on.
