Betty

Why rehoming?

She has progressively gotten more aggressive with our other cats at home. She will now ruthlessly lash out at our older male cat and me or my husband if we try to break it up. If she is isolated she is super sweet and loves pets and cuddles. We feel that she would thrive in a home where she is the only cat. She was originally a street cat that we took in to treat for a deadly infection. She has since had a clean bill of health and has been spayed. The vet thinks she has had a litter or two of kittens and she actually is very motherly towards our young female cat. She may need to be medicated (Prozac) and unfortunately we do not have the resources to accommodate the transition to medication. Again - she is so sweet if she is by herself, but she will get agitated and anxious when she hears another cat.

Adoption Summary

Betty is a sweet 2.5 year old tortie who loves to be the queen of the house. She would thrive in an environment where she is the only pet. She loves head scratches and cuddles in bed. She can’t resist a sunny spot in a window where she can observe what’s going on outside. When she is not lounging around, she loves to play with string toys or wrestle with her stuffed fish friend. Her bursts of feline energy will always keep you entertained!

Behavior or Health Concerns

Cat aggression - would thrive in a house as an only pet. Ears can get dirty occasionally.
