Unfortunately, Dinah has become impatient/aggressive with our 2 year-old. This has been going on for several months and we had hoped to help her correct this. Most recently, she attacked a friend's dog. We don't have the resources for intense behavioral training and for her well-being and for safety concerns, we're hoping to find her a new home.
Dinah is strong and smart. She gets along with our cat, but has recently struggled more and more with other dogs. She would likely do best in a home with no other dogs and children over 6.
Dinah has always been on the anxious side. She was raised by a breeder with a very aggressive litter-mate until she was one. She was then purchased and quickly forfeit to Maricopa county due to family allergies. We adopted her in August, 2020. She has never had any major health concerns. Her bowels, ears, and teeth are good. She had a hind leg Distrain at the beginning of last fall. Looking at her record, it looks like she's past due for her rabies, but I will get her up-to-date before rehoming.
