Why rehoming?

My father passed away on September 28th, our family is unable to take his dog (we have cats and she is not compatible). Chloe is a pitbull/boxer mix, 10 years old, that is loving life but likely overwhelmed by entering a 5 dog household after living with just my dad. His wishes were for her to be taken care of in a loving home. We want to honor that.

Adoption Summary

Meet Chloe! Chloe is a happy, social pitbull/boxer mix that is ready to find her second permanent home. Her owner unexpectedly passed, which left her with a foster family who has 5 other dogs. Chloe is a lover, likes exercise, playing, and sleeping in. She lived alone with her owner but has gotten along with other dogs after proper introductions. No cats. Has been around children for short periods. Chloe is frightened by thunder and fireworks so takes Trazadone to help soothe her fear (she may still crawl under the bed where she feels safe). Chloe is potty trained, can sit, lay down, and dance on command.
